Starbucks Recalls Stainless Steel Beverage Straws

Starbucks is recalling stainless steel beverage straws and providing new warnings to customers about possible risk of injury involving children.

Starbucks today (Aug 4th) issued a recall for stainless steel beverage straws which are rigid and can poke children in the mouth, posing an injury risk.

The recall involves stainless steel straws which were sold with stainless steel tumblers (16 oz Grande size). The straws measure approximately 9.5 inches. The straws feature a ridge at the bottom that keeps the straw attached to the lid.
