Starbucks eGift Card
The Starbucks eGift Card after redemption will be used for making purchases at Starbucks stores and reloaded money onto. The Starbucks eGift Card is valid only in Vietnam (all Starbucks stores in Vietnam), and can stored and reloaded in denominations of Vietnamese Dong for any amount between VND50,000 and VND5,000,000, provided that VND5,000,000 is the maximum amount a card can hold at any time.
Once the Starbucks eGift Card is redeemed, it can be used to make purchases just as you would use cash or credit card/debits card/domestical ATM card but is even easier and faster card, and however the Starbucks eGift Card is non-refundable as well as not exchangeable for any physical Starbucks Card or cash or credit balance. Normally, you can check your Starbucks Card balance by asking the barista at the any Starbucks stores, and at https://card.starbucks.vn or the Mobile Application if you have registered to join the Starbucks RewardTM Program.
Purchasing and Sending Starbucks eGift Card
You can purchase the Starbucks eGift Card which is currently available via our websites or Mobile Application by completion of the following simple steps:
1. Access to https://www.starbucks.vn/ or open the latest version of the Mobile Application
2. Tab on “Send a Starbucks eGift Card” under “Card” page
3. Press tab “Send Now” under the “Send a Starbucks eGift” session
4. Choose a Starbucks eGift Card design
5. Input the sender’s name, email address and the recipient’s name, email address and your personal message and the amount reloaded into the Starbucks eGift Card
6. Hit “check out”
7. Review information of the transaction
9. Hit “confirm” the transaction
10. Input your payment account information on a payment page provided by our payment service providers
11. Finish the payment transaction.
You (Sender) will receive the email notification to your registered email from Starbucks stating that your Starbucks eGift Card purchase is a success. If you did not receive such notification email, please contact our Customer Care Center so that we will reach out to you.
An email notification will be sent to the recipient’s registered email address within the same day that the Starbucks eGift Card is purchased so that the recipient can acknowledge and redeem the Starbucks eGift Card within the specified redemption term.
If you input a wrong email address for the recipient for the Starbucks eGift Card purchase, please contact our Customer Care Center immediately so that we will reach out to you. However, we cannot handle such request if the recipient redeems the eGift.
If you are a Starbucks RewardsTM member and input the sender’s email address which is an email used to sign up for the Starbucks RewardsTM account, you can track the status and detailing records of your purchased and sent Starbucks eGift Card and on our website and mobile application after logging into your Starbucks RewardsTM account and clicking on “eGift” session and tab “Purchased”.
Redemption of Starbucks eGift Card
The recipient will redeem a Starbucks eGift Card by the following redemption steps:
1. Click on a Starbucks eGift Card verification link in such email to redirect to the redemption web page
3. Input the recipient’s email address in order to claim a Starbucks eGift Card.
4. Use the redeemed Starbucks eGift Card by one of the following ways:
(i) Directly use as an anonymous Starbucks eGift Card by downloading/printing the barcode of such card in a pdf version or sending the barcode of such card to the recipient email;
(ii) Add such card into the recipient’s existing Starbucks RewardsTM account by clicking on “sign in” to sign in his/her Starbucks RewardsTM account and add such card into his/her Starbucks RewardsTM account; or
(iii) Add such card into the recipient’s new Starbucks RewardsTM account by clicking on “sign up” to create his/her new Starbucks RewardsTM account and add such card into his/her Starbucks RewardsTM account to complete the registration of his/her new Starbucks RewardsTM account.
The email used to claim a Starbucks eGift Card by the recipient must be the ones which the sender input/registered for receiving the Starbucks eGift Card.
If the recipient didn’t receive the Starbucks eGift Card email notification for redemption from Starbucks, please get the recipient to check with their spam or trash folder within his/her email address. If the email is still not found, you (sender) can contact our Customer Care Center so that we will reach out to you.
If the recipient accidentally deleted the Starbucks eGift Card email notification before redeeming, the recipient can check his/her Trash/Deleted mail box folder and retrieve email. If the recipient is unable to do so, you (sender) can contact our Customer Care Center so that we will reach out to you .
A Starbucks eGift Card has a valid redemption for 30 days from the date of purchase/sending. If the recipient fails to redeem within 30 days from the date of purchase/sending, the Starbucks eGift Card will be considered as waived and expired, and returned to you, the sender of the Starbucks eGift Card, by a notification email.
You (sender) will have another 30 days from the date of return to redeem the Starbucks eGift Card in accordance with the said redemption steps. If you fails to redeem such card within such 30 days, such card will be temporarily locked. In this situation, you are required to contact our Customer Care Center to unlock and re-activate such card for you (sender) to redeem in accordance with the said redemption steps.
A Starbucks eGift Card cannot be resent to any other recipient after it is redeemed by the first recipient or returned to you.
The Starbucks eGift Card shall expire on the end date of a three (03) year-period as from the last financial transaction which shall be one of the following actions:
• A Starbucks eGift Card purchase transaction
• Redemption of the Starbucks eGift Card
• Reload of the Starbucks eGift Card
• Purchase transaction
Upon the expiration of any Starbucks eGift Card, the Starbucks eGift Card balance shall become revenue of Starbucks without any Starbucks’ responsibility for the Starbucks eGift Card holder.
All online payment transactions in relation to the Starbucks eGift Cards which is made via your credit card/debits card/domestical ATM card shall be encrypted safely and made through the web page, mobile application having the secure payment system in place. All online payment transactions information will be kept confidential except that it is required by law. Please do not let someone else borrow your credit card/debits card/domestical ATM card to make such online payment. In the event of an unexpected transaction occurred, please contact our Customers Service Center or the card issuance bank immediately so that we can assist promptly. However, we will not have any liability arising from such incidents.
